AXIOM Team Talk - Volume 4

We talk about people we have met at NAB and the quite memorable event of being interviewed On-The-Couch by Cinema5D together with other "camera-underdogs": Black Magic Design and Kinefinity. Normally during such interviews, everyone acts polite and just talks about their own new products. But things got heated when the discussion shifted to the topic of "open source" or the lack of it in proprietary products. The video is not released yet but we hope it will soon be available in its full glory.

We purchased an SLA/DLP based Atum 3D printer to create prototypes and maybe even production parts for the AXIOM Beta some time ago. Unfortunately the package was badly damaged during delivery, so Mr. Atum 3D himself flew in and repaired and re-calibrated it on site.

We share some unseen behind the scenes footage from shooting this years Aprils fool video. Big thanks to our death metal supervisor "Jin" without whom we would have never been able to pretend playing actual instruments so convincingly.
